  • Plan and prepare the schedules for Cashiers
  • Training of new Cashiers
  • Responsible for cash management within the store
  • Ensure all checkout areas are clean and tidy
  • Handle cash transactions with customers using cash registers
  • Scan goods and collect payments
  • Issue receipts, refunds, discounts, etc
  • Provide good customer service, manage customer service level within Cashiers and store
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
  • At least 1 year of working experience in a similar role in a supermarket environment
  • Basic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment (e.g. cash register, scanners etc.)
  • Strong communication and time management skills
  • Customer service oriented
  • Oversee the effectiveness of Cashier’s scheduling, scheduling and productivity in accordance with the Company’s / Business need
  • Responsible to ensure effective/active communication and cooperation in dealing with any third party (Banks, Security Company, IT Contractor etc.) for the purpose of Company’s Cash Management policy/routines.
  • Responsible to ensure Cashiers are equipped with the required training skill.
  • Advise and propose and Cash Management and Customer Service best practice if necessary
  • Responsible for any ad hoc task required by the company.
  • Responsible to lead the team to comply with the essential routines for:
  • Cash management and Cash transaction
  • Scanning and collection of payment are intact.
  • Issuance of receipts, refunds, discounts are accordance to the Company’s policy
  • Ensure good customer service are maintained and manage customer service level standard among the team

  • At least 1 year of working experience in a similar role in a supermarket environment
