  • Assist the Department Manager in supervising the team to ensure compliance with established store policies and procedures in the meat department
  • Perform cutting and displaying of meat products, including overseeing the freshness and quality of food items
  • Assist the Department Manager to motivate a team of staff to attain a high level of food quality and comply with the company’s standards on food portioning, quality standards, policies and procedures
  • Oversee the maintenance of the kitchen counters, kitchen equipment and food storage areas to ensure it is clean, sanitized and organized
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Department Manager

  • At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate ability to work as a team and “can do” attitude
  • Experience working in a supermarket environment will be an advantage
  • Customer service oriented, and have a strong sense of customer service.
  • Greets customers, responding to questions, improving engagement with merchandise and providing outstanding customer service.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work multiple shifts
  • 5 day work week only!
